Our Discontent
We formed in the summer of '05 after our various other bands were slowing down and breaking up.  Ben and I wanted to create a band that was more socially aware than our previous bands.  Originally Our Discontent was Ben and I, Topher on sticks and Ryan E on strings.  We had rotating bassits at practice so we asked ourselves who can jump real high and play bass at the same time, then Danny joined the band.
Our first record "The First Necessity Of Progress" (on Nervous Breakdown Records) is a sort of compilation of our first six months as a band.  We are currently writing our Lorelei debut full length which we've titled "You're Outnumbered" and plan to have it out before next summer, which will be followed by our first US Tour.  We also plan on releasing a CDEP called "Creatures and Catacombs" sometime before next summer comprised of 5 new songs we recorded last spring.  Our new website will be coming soon as well... until then email destroytosurvive@gmail.com to reach us.
